Whatever the next game will be from Prof Layton studio Level 5, there's a adenoidal fortune it'll be happening Nintendo's upcoming 3DS.

In an interview with Japanese spirited uber-magazine Famitsu, Layton serial publication producer Akihiro Hino dropped some hints as to what his studio apartment's next jut would be. Atomic number 2 revealed that the game would constitute a collaboration with manager Jiro Ishi, called Time Travelers – just that wasn't the interesting character.

What's interesting is the level of secrecy that the dyad took pains to maintain around the title. Ishi – who directed critically-acclaimed PS3/PSP/Wii adventure game 428 – refused to even shed some sunstruck on what genre of back it was.

Whatever the writing style, though, it seems that the title will probably be for Nintendo's late-declared new handheld platform, the 3DS. That would be the most likely interpretation of Hino's cryptic argument that Time Travelers was existence made "for hardware that doesn't survive yet."

Either that, or they'll be making it for, like, the PS4 or something.

Ishi did say that he thought his idea for Time Travelers would be a completely original take over the idea of time go on. "…I have an idea about clip travel that has never been done before, flatbottom in movies Beaver State books."

Merely has it been done in games before, Ishi-san? Chrono Trigger came call at the rude 90s, man!
